Detection of Human Conductivity Distribution using One Component of Magnetic Flux Density

چکیده
We have developed a new algorithm, RBF-MREIT, for Magnetic Resonance Electrical Impedance Tomography (MREIT) by applying the radial basis function (RBF) network and Simplex method. RBF-MREIT uses only one component of the measured magnetic flux density to reconstruct the conductivity images, and provides a solution to the rotation problem in MREIT. The proposed algorithm is tested on a three-spheres head model and the simulation results suggest that the proposed algorithm can reconstruct conductivity distribution images with high accuracy. Reconstruction of conductivity distribution of brain tissue from two components magnetic flux density
In this paper the recent Magnetic resonance electrical impedance imaging (MREIT) technique is used to image non-invasively the three-dimensional continuous conductivity distribution of the head tissues. With the feasibility of the human head being rotated twice in the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system, a continuous conductivity reconstruction MREIT algorithm based on two components of the...

Magnetic resonance electrical impedance tomography (MREIT) is to visualize the internal current density and conductivity of an electrically conductive object. Injecting current through surface electrodes, we measure one component of the induced internal magnetic flux density using an MRI scanner. In order to reconstruct the conductivity distribution inside the imaging object, most algorithms in...

Magnetic resonance electrical impedance tomography (MR-EIT) is an emerging imaging technique that reconstructs conductivity images using magnetic flux density measurements acquired employing MRI together with conventional EIT measurements. In this study, experimental MR-EIT images from phantoms with conducting and insulator objects are presented. The technique is implemented using the 0.15 T Mi...

Magnetic resonance electrical impedance tomography (MREIT) utilizes the relation between conductivity and magnetic flux density induced by externally injected current to perform conductivity imaging of body tissues. A spin echo pulse sequence has been predominantly used in MREIT to acquire the z-component Bz of the induced magnetic flux density data from MR phase images. Spin echo based MREIT p...
متن کاملModeling Magnetic Field in Heavy ion Collisions Using Two Different Nuclear Charge Density Distributions
By studying the properties of matter during heavy-ion collisions, a better understanding of the Quark-Gluon plasma is possible. One of the main areas of this study is the calculation of the magnetic field, particularly how the values of conductivity affects this field and how the field strength changes with proper time. In matching the theoretical calculations with results obtained in lab, two diffe...
